There is still time to nominate Bernie. The US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, California, NJ, Montana, NM, SD, ND, and Washington DC have yet to hold their primaries. Bernie would need a commanding lead in them to catch Hillary, but the possibility is there. Bernie knows what his tracking polls look like, more importantly, he knows what his phone bank results look like. The Bernie phone bank is tied directly into his database, so he knows how many calls are being made, where those calls are going, and what the results look like, and his team knows this in real time.

Once again not only does The Onion get it right, they are pure prophecy.
That can be the only reason she deviously rigged the meaningless Washington state primary so that Clinton could win, with exactly zero impact on the delegate math*.
At least Clinton isn't whimpering about "the unfairness of it all" like Sanders does. Though he got 46% of the vote to her 54% of the vote, he gets 74 delegates to her 25. No matter, he isn't going to be the Democratic party nominee. Not going to happen.
